Our story
Incursion Music was established on the 1st of September 2006. The mission of the company is very simple “Promotion of Bangladeshi bands in order to rejuvenate and expand the Bangladesh music scene”. Since incorporation of the company Incursion has been rigorously promoting as well as constructing its establishment. Incursion Music is situated in the heart of Dhaka city in Bangla Motor, the hub of the music scene. As of 1st March 2007, Incursion Music officially opened its doors to the budding musicians of the country.
History
The name Incursion goes a long long way back. It was sometime in 1987 when Sarfaraz (Cryptic Fate) and Saadi (Incursion) while studying for their school exams decided to ponder names for their band (then called Megametal and later Viper Bandits). The group of friends then decided to change the name "Incursion", in 1990. Incursion played various school gigs and shows and soon started working on their own material. Due to higher studies, most of the band members moved abroad and Sarfaraz formed Cryptic Fate. Almost 15 years later, "Incursion” the music company was born.
